Damon and Pat are two professionally trained photographers from Brooks Institute of Photography. Tired of paying rent and wanting to explore, decided leave beautiful Santa Barbara for the great outdoors. So they sold everything (except cameras) and headed north. Base camp was made in Port Orchard Wa while gear was acquired and plans were made. The plan: hike from Canada to Mexico! Next, what path to take. First on the list was the more common Pacific Crest Trail. But not willing to wait till spring for the snow-pack to melt, and wanting to do something more unique they decided to hike the roughly 2000 miles of pacific coast. Follow along in the adventure and enjoy the images as they make their way south.
